WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit to be without error. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is authoritative to be the only rule of faith and life.

We believe in the Trinity. There is one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are the same in substance, equal in power and glory.

We believe God created man, male and female in His own image and in knowledge, righteousness, and holiness.

We believe our first parents, left to the freedom of their own nature, sinned against God to become dead in sin and wholly defiled in all the parts and facilities of soul and body. 

We believe that as a result of the sin of our first parents, all mankind are sinners. As such they are unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure except through His sovereign mercy.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death. Through His perfect life and sacrificial death, He reconciled the relationship between God and sinners for all who trust His saving work in their behalf.

We believe the Holy Spirit enables sinners to believe the things of God, renews their wills, and draws them to Christ so they place trust in His saving work alone for salvation.

We believe Jesus rose from the dead and will return bodily and visibly to judge the living and the dead. Those who trust in Christ will be raised to eternal life. Those who by their unbelief remain alienated to God and will be raised to everlasting judgement.

We believe that marriage is between one biological man and one biological woman.

We believe all aspects of life are to be lived to the glory of God through faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ.
